Tails Flight Routes in Sonic Dream Team: Reach the High Paths
Tails can fly, and flight opens the high paths of Sonic Dream Team. Here is how to use it well.

How flight works
Tails flies by spinning his twin tails, and flight in Sonic Dream Team APK site is a tool, not a cheat: it lasts long enough to cross gaps and reach ledges, but not long enough to skip whole levels. Learn its range on flat ground before trusting it over a pit.
Flight is best used in short bursts: rise, glide, land, repeat. Holding flight until it runs out over a gap is the classic beginner mistake, and the game punishes it with a long fall.
High paths worth finding
High paths hold Dream Orbs, Dream Moons and shortcuts that cut whole sections. On your first visit to a level, take the low road to learn the layout, then revisit with Tails and take every high path you can see.
Look for ledges just above the main route, for rings arcing over gaps, and for platforms that serve no purpose from the ground. All three are flight invitations, and the game places them deliberately.
Flight and time trials
Flight rarely wins time trials, since flying is slower than boosting on the ground. Use Tails for exploration and Sonic for times, and do not let a favorite hero override the mission type. Related reading: Rouge Gliding in Sonic Dream Team: Long Glides, Hidden Ledges.
In score attack, flight routes sometimes hide ring lines worth more than the time lost. Learn the level first, then decide whether the high route pays.
Cream flies too
Cream flies like Tails, with her own feel and her own charm. If Tails feels heavy to you, try Cream on the same routes: the same paths, a different rhythm, and sometimes a better fit for your hands. Related reading: Every Sonic Dream Team World, Ranked by Fun.
