Dream Moons in Sonic Dream Team: Where Collectors Should Look
Dream Moons are the collector hunt of Sonic Dream Team. Here is where they hide.

What Dream Moons are
Dream Moons are hidden collectibles scattered through Sonic Dream Team download, and finding them is the game's purest exploring reward. They hide off the main route, behind hero specific moves, and in places that look decorative until you try them.
Dream Moons do not gate the story, so collectors can hunt them at their own pace. That freedom is the point: a Dream Moon hunt is a relaxing run, not a stressful one.
Where they hide
Dream Moons hide on high ledges for flyers, behind walls for climbers, across long gaps for gliders, and behind barriers for Amy. If a level has a hero specific feature, it probably has a Dream Moon nearby.
Check behind the goal, above the start, and beside boss arenas. The game hides moons where players stop looking, which means the edges of levels pay better than the middle.
Best collector routine
Run a level once with Sonic to learn it, once with Tails to clear high moons, once with Knuckles for walls, and once with Rouge for far ledges. Four focused runs clear more moons than ten random ones. Related reading: Every Sonic Dream Team World, Ranked by Fun.
Keep a simple note of which levels still hide moons. The game does not need a spreadsheet, but a short list stops you replaying finished levels while unfinished ones wait.
The collector payoff
The payoff is not a prize, it is mastery: knowing every ledge, every wall and every glide in a world. Collectors finish Sonic Dream Team knowing the game better than speedrunners do, and that knowledge is its own reward. Related reading: Sonic Dream Team Characters: Every Hero and What They Do Best.
